Salt Lake City, Utah – May 7, 2026 – O. and Co. Games and Out of Space announced today that TetherGeist is available on Steam and Nintendo Switch. The game follows its award-winning run at the gamescom latam BIG Festival, where it was a finalist for Best Game, Best Impact, Best Art, and Best Sound, and was the winner of the WINGS Award.
TetherGeist is a combat-free precision platformer built around movement reminiscent of puzzle-solving, forming a rhythm of decision and execution that can draw one into a flow-like state. Play as Mae, a young Mountain Shaman who cannot fully spirit-walk like others in her village. Instead of leaving her body behind, she projects her spirit outward as a tether, using it to swing across gaps, adjust her path mid-air, and navigate tightly spaced hazards that demand precise timing.

Across a story-rich world filled with hidden secrets and multiple endings, seven distinct Azae change how Astral Projection functions, requiring new approaches to movement in each region. Progress comes from practice, patience, and learning how each version of the tether behaves in play.
“The goal was to build a platformer where mastery comes from learning a single mechanic deeply,” said the team. “The tether is everything. Once it clicks, you stop thinking about abilities and start thinking about movement itself.”
AVAILABILITY
TetherGeist launches May 7 on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and is compatible with Nintendo Switch 2. The game is priced at $16.99 USD, with a 20% introductory discount during the launch period.
Alongside the Standard Edition, TetherGeist will also launch on Steam with a Supporter Edition and Deluxe Edition, which include the full soundtrack and a digital artbook.
