ROTTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS — 9 October, 2025 — Total Mayhem Games has launched We Were Here Together on the Nintendo Switch™, and improves the whole We Were Here series with enhanced visuals, performance, last-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series XIS, handheld Steam deck, and crossplay support, enabling players to connect seamlessly across Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. This update, paired with the Switch launch of We Were Here Together, invites new and returning players to dive into the series’ award-winning asymmetric co-op puzzle adventures.

Nintendo Switch™ Release
Following the successful Nintendo Switch™ launch of We Were Here and We Were Here Too on September 18th, 2025, We Were Here Together joins the handheld platform today. Switch players can now dive into the We Were Here legacy games, complete with crossplay support to connect with friends on other systems. All three titles are also fully compatible with the Nintendo Switch™ 2.
About the We Were Here Series
The We Were Here games are a series of two-player co-op puzzle adventures set in Castle Rock. Each player takes on the role of an Antarctic Explorer who becomes separated from their partner. With only a walkie-talkie and their own perspective, they must solve asymmetric puzzles and uncover the secrets of the realm. Every game in the series is built around collaboration and communication.

The We Were Here Series
The We Were Here Series has been captivating players with its co-op puzzle designs and challenging duos to think outside the box since 2017 when We Were Here launched as a free game that has now been downloaded almost 10 million times. Since then, the We Were Here Series has been enjoyed by more than 20 million players. We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip is the latest release and blew all records out of the water by hitting more than 8 million downloads within its first year. The puzzling adventures are playable in any order, although there is a common narrative thread running through them.
