FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Turin, Italy - Studio Ortica, the independent developer behind the psychological horror title Loan Shark and the atmospheric mystery Birds Watching, announces its next game: The Old Flesh of Nuraga, coming to PC via Steam this summer. A playable demo is available now.
The Old Flesh of Nuraga is a first-person atmospheric horror set on a dying island. Stranded in the desert with her aging grandfather, Cinera uses an ancient bell to scavenge food from the dunes. But soon something older is unearthed: fragments of a buried god.
The game draws on the mythology and material culture of Nuragic Sardinia to construct a distinct flavor of cosmic horror, the intimate and ancestral made monstrous.
Players can experience the game now through the free demo on Steam. The full game launches on PC this summer 2026.
