Skybound Entertainment Launches Second Crowdfunding Campaign on Republic

The investment into Skybound will be used to develop and market a new, in-house AAA video game centered around Invincible

LOS ANGELES  April 15, 2024  Skybound Entertainment, the leading global entertainment company known for blockbuster franchises The Walking Dead and Invincible, and emerging tentpole IP Impact Winter, today opened a Regulation Crowdfunding (CF) campaign to the public on crowdfunding platform Republic. This initiative marks the company’s second foray into a public equity offering, previously having raised $18 million from more than 6,000 investors in 2023.

With just a $100 minimum investment into the company, it is a rare chance for fans to own a piece of Skybound’s beloved IP, with the use of proceeds to help to continue the in-house development of an upcoming AAA video game based on Invincible, whose wildly successful second season has just concluded on Prime Video with a 100% Certified Fresh Rotten Tomatoes score. The video game will be developed under the direction of Skybound’s new 30-person studio of notable industry vets from Activision Blizzard, EA, Amazon Games, and creator Robert Kirkman himself, ensuring the company is making the best video game in the universe.
