- Description
Pollinarium is a minimalist, turn-based farming strategy game. Draw cards, place plants and appliances, and adapt to each procedurally-generated garden. Plan for synergy, adapt to each layout, and collect your harvest!
Choose your cards!
Choose your cards each day. These contain a mix of plants and appliances, like onions, flowers, or berry bushes, and supportive tools like bee hotels, ponds, or rainwater tanks. Different card types unlock different strategies.
Place your plants and appliances strategically!
Every plant has distinct traits: growth speed, regrowth time, harvest value, and how it interacts with neighbors. Some thrive with friends nearby, others... not so much. Appliances give area-wide bonuses, helping boost your yield if placed wisely.
Grow your garden!
Pass the day and watch plants evolve through multiple growth stages. Regrowth cycles, timing, and synergy effects all come into play.
Collect your harvest!
No rush, no watering, just strategic planting and harvesting to reach the necessary points within the given days. Experiment freely to unlock strategic combinations and maximize your gardens’ harvest!
- History
Nomadic Robot Studio is an independent, one-person game studio from Canada.
I work with a few talented collaborators on art and music, but everything else, from design to code, comes together here. My goal is to create games that feel approachable on the surface but reward curiosity, planning, and the satisfaction of figuring things out.
Pollinarium is my first project under the Nomadic Robot name. It’s inspired by permaculture, companion planting, and the idea that even the simplest systems can lead to rich, surprising outcomes.
