Paris, France — August 14, 2026 — Double Jack opened pre-orders and released a free demo for Maestro, the expressive motion-controlled simulator of orchestra conductor, for Nintendo Switch 1 & 2 via Nintendo eShop. Those who pre-order before launch lock in a special price ($29.99 / £26.99 / €29.99) and an exclusive in-game reward.

The free demo offers Switch players their first opportunity to step onto the conductor's podium of Maestro. It starts with The Masterclass, the narrative tutorial which teaches the core gameplay mechanics. Then, the real performance begins: players conduct Verdi's Requiem across four difficulty levels, tuned to challenge newcomers and rhythm game veterans alike. Between concerts, one of Maestro's lighthearted minigames lets conductors unwind over a glass of fancy juice.

Double Jack rebuilt Maestro for Nintendo Switch with redesigned camera systems, reworked hand animations, and gameplay tailored for Joy-Con motion controls. The Switch versions also add a new track, “Ashes on the Fire” from Attack on Titan, to the game’s repertoire of classical masterpieces and iconic film and video game soundtracks.

“Conducting an orchestra in real life takes years of training and long days in a concert hall. On Switch it takes two Joy-Con and about thirty seconds of the demo to feel the music answer your hands.” — Eric de Roch, CEO of Culture at Double Jack.

Players who pre-order now receive an exclusive in-game reward: "La Culture", the talking baton designed by the in-game mascot Eric de Roch. This special baton will offer a word of encouragement, or sarcastic remarks, as players conduct.

Maestro launches on Nintendo Switch 1 & 2 on September 17. The free demo can be downloaded today on both consoles, and digital pre-orders are open now on the Nintendo eShop. The demo is available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.

Maestro is also available on Meta Quest, PS VR2, Pico, and SteamVR. For more information, players can visit the official website, join the community in Discord, and follow the game on Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook.
