INTERSTORE GAMES invites players to enter the Fallen Citadel in the playable single-player alpha demo of Mighty Gladiators, available in a browser on itch.io. The full game is in development for Windows PC, with a Steam release planned for Q2 2027. Players can wishlist it now.
Mighty Gladiators combines wave-based arena combat with character builds and boss encounters. Choose from four heroes: an Orc Warrior, Elf Archer, Dwarf Runic Warden or Human Sorceress. Earn gold in battle, return to the armory between waves, and buy, forge and upgrade equipment while developing skills and talents to suit your playstyle.
The public alpha demo includes 14 waves and local checkpoints that let players return to their progress in the same browser. It is single-player only. The full game is being developed for solo play and online co-op with up to three friends; multiplayer is not included in the public demo.
Features of the full game in development include:
- Four distinct heroes, each with three talent paths.
- Active skills, item combinations and legendary equipment.
- Boss battles built around positioning, timing and encounter mechanics.
- Solo play and online co-op for up to four players.
- An endless mode and PvP rounds between boss encounters.
The project grew out of a childhood ambition to recreate the excitement of playing Warcraft III custom maps and mods with friends. Its foundation took shape over 660 hours of solo development using Three.js, with help from Tripo3D and GPT-6 Astra. Ongoing co-op playtests with friends continue to shape the combat, builds and boss encounters.
Mighty Gladiators is still in development. The demo, screenshots and trailer show an alpha version; features and release timing may change. An internet connection is required for the full game, including single-player. Pricing has not yet been announced.
