Lo-fi townbuilder Tranquil Isle gets a release date and a brand new demo!

Solo developer Tom Daly and indie publisher Future Friends Games (Exo One, Europa, Laysara, SUMMEREHOUSE) have announced the release date for lo-fi townbuilding roguelite Tranquil Isle today as well as launching a brand new demo. The full game is launching on PC via Steam on April 18th 2025. The announcement also comes with a new trailer.

About the game

While away the hours on the sunkissed shores of your own tiny paradise! Tranquil isle is a combination of townbuilder and roguelite, set on idyllic, randomly generated islands. The sun will rise and set as you work to grow your town, managing resources and upgrades to keep everything humming along nicely.

About the developer

Tom Daly (they/them) is a freelance 3D artist based in Ireland, and is a longtime fan of citybuilders, sandboxes, rainbows, and games that they’re good at. Tranquil Isle is their debut, solo developed game launching April 18th 2025.

Future Friends was founded in 2017 with a simple mission: help indie games get the love they deserve.
