MONTREAL, QC — December 6, 2026 — Artifice Studio announced For Olwen’s Hand today, a new adventure for its hand-painted Arthurian turn-based RPG Legends of the Round Table. The DLC launches on Steam on December 10, 2026 and will be entirely free for owners of the base game.
For Olwen’s Hand draws on Culhwch and Olwen, one of Arthuriana's oldest tales in the Welsh tradition. A knight falls hopelessly in love with Olwen, daughter of the chief giant Ysbaddaden, who will only give up her hand if her suitor completes a list of seemingly impossible challenges. Each task leads deeper into a world of giants, mythical beasts and quests no sensible knight would accept.
As with every adventure in the base game, For Olwen’s Hand puts the story in players’ hands. Choose which knight rides out to win Olwen’s hand, decide how each challenge is approached and shape how the tale unfolds. Over roughly five hours of new content, they will face Ysbaddaden, the legendary boar Twrch Trwyth and more, using new combat mechanics introduced with the DLC.
