Krakow, Poland - 24th of September: Prepare your hard drives (and maybe your dignity) because developer Mahelyk and publisher Black Lantern Collective have announced that their comedy-driven narrative adventure GlitchSPANKR will release on Steam on the 15th of October 2025!
Before you ask…and we continue, yes, it's safe for work! GlitchSPANKR is rated 16+, and while it leans into the ridiculous theme of spankin’, it’s all played in good jest. So get your mind out of the gutter because there is no NSFW here!
Instead, you’ll step into the shoes of a child in the 90s who sneaks onto the family PC to boot up the forbidden Big Booty Slapper 6 (remember, it’s safe for work). Unfortunately, as the screen flickers to life, you unleash a lonely virus who corrupts the game from the inside, and out, twisting every menu, level, and pixel into something more unsettling. Every level brings a new unexpected disaster, a new twist on mechanics, a new genre and even a new mini-game. Can you save your game with your life intact in this narrative-driven fever dream, where every choice leads deeper into the insanity?

Your weapon, a floppy pink hand on a bendy metal rod, has one job… spank everything in its sights. With physics-based smacking and chaos, almost everything can either be broken or interacted with, so use your pink hand to solve problems, punish viruses and destroy almost anything in your way.
