Fruit Ninja Developer Announces Console & Mobile Launches for Deep Diving Roguelike 'Feed the Deep'

Brisbane, Australia – October 15, 2026 | Solo developer Luke Muscat (Fruit Ninja & Jetpack Joyride) and publisher CerebralFix are pleased to announce that their criticially-acclaimed lovecraftian roguelike Feed the Deep is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows Store and Android in 2027.

Feed the Deep is a compulsive lovecraftian roguelike inspired by the likes of Dome Keeper and Spelunky. Dive into an ever-changing system of undersea caves. Collect resources that can be traded for upgrades and items. Explore ever deeper, managing dark spaces, limited oxygen, and hostile wildlife, and complete your mission to Feed the Deep.

Features:

- A lovecraftian roguelike by the creator of Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride.
- Procedurally generated caves make every expedition different.
- Explore at your own pace. Dive fast and aggressive, explore slowly, dropping markers along the way.
- Soundtrack by award-winning composer Cedar Jones (Jetpack Joyride and more).
- An atmospheric deep sea adventure with lovecraftian vibes

Feed the Deep is my first solo developed game, and was inspired by some of my all-time favourite indie classics; Spelunky and Dome Keeper " Shared Luke Muscat. "I find procedural generation fascinating and really liked the idea of building something that could still surprise me while I am playing. More than once I jumped out of my skin while testing the game, despite knowing every single line of code! But the absolute best part is hearing stories from players about their time in Feed the Deep.

- "Terrifying and claustrophobic." - PC Gamer
- "An aquatic, cosmic horror masterclass in design" - Big Boss Battle
- "Creates a gameplay loop so satisfying that it makes it impossible to stay away." - GameCritics - 8/10

Feed the Deep is slated to release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows Store and Android in 2027. For more information, be sure to follow the game's progress on YouTube @lukemuscat.
