May 5, 2025 – Glitch Goblins has released a free playable demo for Beyond the Map, an open-world Survival x ARPG hybrid set in a procedurally generated fantasy world. Players can now explore the early-game experience on Steam ahead of the game's full Early Access launch in 2025.
Beyond the Map begins with a shipwreck at the edge of the known seas, thrusting players into an uncharted wilderness full of danger and discovery. With no traditional class system, players can shape their own builds through skill leveling and spellbook-based abilities, unlocking playstyles that fit their strategy.
In the demo, players can establish a base, begin mastering professions, and explore the game’s handcrafted combat system—featuring real-time, skill-based action inspired by classic ARPGs. The world is procedurally generated, with distinct biomes containing unique enemies, resources, and rare loot to find.
