At last year’s Tokyo Game Show, publisher Gamera Games announced Arise of Awakener. The upcoming medieval fantasy ARPG receives a new trailer and name change today, now it is called The Awakener: Risen. Meanwhile it makes a commitment to launch in 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.

The Awakener: Risen is developed by Chinese indie team Taner Games. You will play an adventurer who born in the Third Era, embark for a spectacular adventure in the world of Sylvalond. During the journey, you will face the threat of bandits, beasts and fight against demons who invaded into the continent. The adventurer who overcomes all the challenges will gain the qualification to be Awakener.
In this new trailer, for the first time we can see those four advanced classes of Fighter - Warriors with giant sword, Sword Dancer who uses twin blades, Soldier equipped with sword and shield, Lancer who is good at mid-range combat. Each advanced class has different base moves which will lead to unique experiences. Moreover you can freely choose the equipment of each part, and the appearance of the character will also change accordingly.
Besides the fight, The Awakener: Risen also provides various gameplay elements for play. We can see different buildings and scenes like barracks, taverns, blacksmiths, etc in the trailer, also there are sensational experiences such as flying dragons and piloting airships. Obviously that construction, production and exploration will be a huge part of the game.
