YesNinja Games shared the first gameplay trailer for Everrest, an isometric pixel-art action roguelite about a boy who can't wake up. Players fight with a pillow, find powers in falling stars, and bring odd friends home, including a rug merchant who is also his own flying carpet.
The inspiration
Creator Aaron Lamar draws on his childhood experiences with sleep paralysis, insomnia and lucid dreaming, turning those memories into something playful and a little scary.
