Publisher Silver Lining Interactive and developer Square Glade Games have confirmed today that Outbound, the highly anticipated “cozyvival” camper van virtual roadtrip, is coming to Xbox Series X|S in the first half of 2026 alongside PC via Steam and PlayStation 5.
The news broke during the Xbox @ gamescom Live Broadcast, where a brand-new gameplay trailer debuted, revealing a sun-soaked new biome, The Coast, inviting players to park their vans right on the sandy beach and build their perfect coastal getaway.
Attendees at gamescom can get behind the wheel early, as Outbound is playable now on the Indie Arena Booth, Hall 10.2 where the team will be waiting to welcome players with some Outbound goodies, including postcards of the game’s iconic views, and exclusive pins!
