SAN FRANCISCO – September 16, 2025 – Today, during the Game Devs of Color Expo Direct, independent studio Daruma Games announced that their first-ever demo of co-op party game Sol Mates is now available on Steam.
Form a daring crew and launch into the stars! In the demo, up to four players team up online or on the couch as they navigate chaotic, unpredictable space-faring missions. Work together and become a well-oiled machine: debate perilous decisions with friends, upkeep your ship, and defend against dastardly pirates and galactic crab monsters by steering, shielding, and blasting with precision.

Designed best for short sessions with friends, Sol Mates is mission-based with elements of procedural generation and narrative content. In-between missions, players can upgrade their ship, earn new cosmetics, and swing by the Space Bar to dial up the difficulty for greater rewards.
