Overprime’s Closed Beta test saw 57,000 players worldwide from 139 countries, with the majority of players stemming from Asia (64% of total players, main countries include China and Korea), North America (19% of total players, main countries include the United States of America), and Europe (14% of total players, main countries include Russia). There were 20,000 5v5 matches played with a total playtime of 525,000 minutes over two days, equivalent of one year of game time. Other data from Overprime’s Closed Beta include Top 3 most-played heroes and Best CBT records, to bolster fans’ anticipation on Overprime.
Overprime, developed by Netmarble F&C, combines a 3D 3rd-person shooter with the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre, celebrating both dynamic attack skills of the unique heroes and thrilled ambience across sci-fi inspired battlefields. Utilizing the assets of ‘Paragon’ developed by Epic Games in 2016, Overprime succeeds the previous title, providing a brand new 3D TPS MOBA experience for users, while benchmarking the smooth, high-quality graphics of the previous title.
