Breakup-Inspired Indie Game Where Love is Literal Hell Launching In Time For Valentine's Day

Jan 27, 2020 - After 5 long years of dev time, solo developer Tim Ruswick launches his breakup-inspired indie game Philophobia: The Fear of Love, just in time for Valentine’s day.

Philophobia: The Fear of Love is a precision platformer based on the 5 stages of grief, where love is literal Hell.

“Breakups are super tough, and yet they’re a universal experience for us all. I wanted to make a game about my literal interpretation of what it's like to feel all of those deep dark emotions...emotions that most people try to block out. This game lets you experience those emotions literally.”.
