San Diego - June 13th, 2021 | Intrepid Studios’ Creative Director for Ashes of Creation will be participating in an Ask Me Anything (AMA) on the popular r/MMORPG subreddit which will be broadcast on Twitch. The top questions posted to Reddit will be answered by Steven live via Twitch on Sunday, June 13th, 2021 at 11 am Pacific. If you’ve got any questions you’ve been dying to ask about the MMORPG genre’s next big game, you can ask them right now until June 11th at 11:59 pm Pacific. The moderators are expecting a lot of interest, so each account is limited to one question.
If you have not heard of Ashes of Creation, the game is an upcoming non-faction-based, open-world MMORPG set in a high fantasy setting where player activities are directly responsible for the development of cities or empires. Ashes of Creation is a PvX game that focuses on risk vs reward, player agency, engaging and immersive storytelling, player interaction, and a reactive world. Intrepid Studios aims to bring back massive encounters through siege events, guild politics, giant sprawling open-world dungeons, and difficult world bosses suitable for massive raid groups. All while incorporating a strong emphasis on the economy through our gathering, processing, and crafting systems.
Over the past several months Intrepid Studios have been engaged in Alpha testing with over 10,000 testers, and recently released some 4K footage of gigantic raids and castle sieges that demonstrate significant progress towards achieving 250v250 battles.
