Yaza Games and Mythwright today announced that Scriptorium: Master of Manuscripts is available to playtest for the first time, along with a new trailer showcasing some of the most inventive designs players can achieve.
Developed by Yaza Games, Scriptorium: Master of Manuscripts is a casual design game that invites players to run their own medieval manuscript workshop. Players will receive orders to illustrate medieval books, decorate them however they like, send them back to clients to get paid, and unlock new jobs, decorations, and items.
Playtesters can use hundreds of design elements to fulfil commissions for a colorful cast of clients in Story mode, or dive into Sandbox Mode - where every asset is available and the parchment is theirs to shape with complete creative freedom.
The Scriptorium: Master of Manuscripts playtest is open on Steam for Windows PC from 26 June to 10 July.
Playtesters are invited to share their feedback and join the community on Discord.
