LONDON, UK – 19TH APRIL, 2023 - Today, Ubisoft and BLAST announced that the top Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® Siege esports teams from nine regions will gather in Copenhagen, Denmark next week, from 24th April to 7th May, to compete for the first ever BLAST R6 Major title and a share of the USD $750,000 total prize pool.
Making its way to Denmark for the first time, the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen introduces a brand-new format this season, with 3 phases and 24 participating teams. The event will welcome a live audience, during Phase 3: Finals, the competition’s final weekend, from 5th to 7th May at the Forum Copenhagen in the heart of Denmark’s capital. The event will feature several activities for fans to enjoy on-site, including a merch store, free play area, retro gaming area, meet & greets with professional teams, and more!
Phase 1: Play-in – 24th to 27th April
Here are the 16 teams qualified for Phase 1 of the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen:

Coming from all 9 regions in the BLAST Rainbow Six circuit, this phase will promise unprecedented and unique international matchups. The top 8 teams in Phase 1 will qualify for Phase 2.
Phase 2: Playoffs – 29th April to 3rd May
The top 8 teams from Phase 1 will be joined by the following 8 teams that have already qualified for Phase 2 of the Major:

• Virtus.pro (Europe)
• G2 Esports (Europe)
• FaZe Clan (Brazil)
• Team Liquid (Brazil)
• Dplus KIA (South Korea)

The top 8 teams from Phase 2 will qualify for Phase 3.
Phase 3: Finals – 5th – 7th May
Phase 3 will take place in front of a live audience at the Forum Copenhagen, where eight teams will collide in a Best-of-3 single elimination bracket for a chance to claim Major glory.
