Hauntbound is an online and local multiplayer horror party game for 2 to 8 players. Explore a haunted house that builds itself as you play, taking turns opening doors, discovering rooms, searching for relics and items, and facing hidden traps and strange events. Players can work together or get in each other's way, but every decision carries a risk. Between exploration rounds, everyone competes in chaotic, fast-paced minigames that can shift the balance in seconds. Venture far enough into the mansion and the final haunt begins, introducing new objectives, greater danger, and one last chance to come out on top.

History

Hauntbound is being developed and published by BrokeSoft, a UK-based solo independent developer balancing game development with a full-time job in the NHS. Created in Unity, Hauntbound mixes the tense decisions and discoveries of a haunted-house adventure with the unpredictable chaos of competitive party games. A free Steam demo is scheduled for 23 October 2026, with the full game to follow at a later date.
