Kauai, HI – December 1, 2025 — Indie studio Nagarjuna Games is inviting players to join the open playtest for Sunyata CCG, a fast-paced collectible card game now live on Steam. The team has also released a new gameplay trailer showcasing the game’s evolution mechanics, interactive abilities, and distinct deck playstyles.
Sunyata blends creative deck-building with fast-paced, thematic gameplay that supports a wide range of playstyles. The full game will offer both PvP and single-player modes and is free to play, with all cards unlockable through in-game progression.
The open playtest features four starter decks, each emphasizing a distinct playstyle:
- Ice Mage — summon ice spirits and control the board
- Tree Evolution — buff existing trees or evolve them into stronger forms
- Dragon Riders — attach riders to dragons for overwhelming firepower
- Zombies — raise the dead without spending mana and rush the enemy castle
For this round of testing, developers are looking for feedback on standout gameplay moments, favorite mechanics, and any UI or ability interactions that feel unclear. Players can join the discussion on Discord or via the Steam Community Hub.
