SUNSOFT Returns!

Pioneering creator of iconic console games to announce upcoming plans next week at virtual event

 

Nagoya, Japan-–August 11, 2022—SUNSOFT, developer and publisher of electronic games since 1978, announced today that the company will hold a virtual event on August 18th to unveil its plans for upcoming titles to be published in 2022 and 2023.
 

“Although we have been quiet for some time, many things have been happening behind the scenes,” said Yuichi Ochi, General Manager of SUNSOFT. “We are very excited to be able to finally share our vision for the rebirth of SUNSOFT with fans old and new.”
 

The event will take place on the company’s YouTube channel at 1:00PM PDT.
 

As one of the first publishers licensed to publish games for the Nintendo Entertainment System in North America, SUNSOFT created classic titles for both original properties and major licenses, such as Batman. Popular games included Spy Hunter, Aero the Acro-bat, Blaster Master, and Uforia: The Saga.
