SEGA Reveals Familiar Face of Yakuza Protagonist Kiryu Kazuma in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania

A Special Guest That Will Have Yakuza Fans Going Bananas

SEGA revealed today that Kiryu Kazuma, the famed and fearsome protagonist from the Yakuza media franchise, is rolling into Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania as a playable character. Kiryu Kazuma will be free and unlockable on all platforms when Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania launches on October 5, 2021.
 
The legendary “Dragon of Dojima” meets the “Monkey of Jungle Island” in this SEGA all-star collaboration, which introduces the formidable Yakuza lead to the world of Super Monkey Ball. He arrives in classic style, sporting his trademark light grey suit, maroon dress shirt, and signature furrowed brow. The colorful cast of Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania also includes special guests Sonic & Tails, Beat from Jet Set Radio, and other soon-to-be-revealed playable characters.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania launches on October 5, 2021, for Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4, and Xbox One. Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania will also support Xbox Series X Smart Delivery immediately on release, ensuring players will only have to buy the game once to play it on their favorite Xbox console. Additionally, buy the digital PS4™ version from PlayStation™Store or the physical version from a retailer and play the PS5™ version at no extra cost.
