S4 Preview #01 | New Title System & Military Pay Raiding

Greetings, Generals!
Development of Season 4 for Myth of Empires: Throne is underway. In this preview, we're introducing two new features coming in S4: the New Title System and Military Pay Raiding. One will showcase your seasonal achievements, while the other will introduce a new way to compete for Copper Coins.
Please note that all details below reflect our current development plans. Final rules and features are subject to change and will be confirmed when S4 officially launches.

I. New Title System: Showcase Your Seasonal Achievements
Season 4 will introduce a brand-new Title System, with several titles available at launch and more to be added in future seasons.

  • Unlocking Titles: Complete the corresponding requirements to unlock titles. Most titles can only be unlocked once per season.
  • Equipping Titles: Once you've unlocked multiple titles, you can freely choose which one to equip and display your seasonal achievements. Only one title can be equipped at a time.
  • Cross-Season Progression: Unlocked titles will carry over to future seasons. You can continue using them without having to unlock them again when a new season begins.

The Title System has also been shaped by the enthusiasm and creativity of our community. We'd like to thank everyone who participated in our previous collection of suggestions for title names and unlock requirements. Your ideas and feedback have provided valuable inspiration for the system's design.

For titles created based on player suggestions that are adopted into the game, we will also include a special designer credit featuring the contributing player's name, as a token of appreciation for their creativity!

II. Military Pay Raiding: Bring Home the Loot and Climb the Rankings
Season 4 will introduce a new Military Pay system, offering an additional way to earn Copper Coins while creating new opportunities for resource competition between players.

Defeating monsters will reward you with Military Pay in addition to Copper Coins. Military Pay must be brought back to a Boundary Marker, where it can be exchanged for Copper Coins at a 1:1 ratio.

However, obtaining Military Pay doesn't mean it's safely yours. If your character dies while carrying Military Pay, all of it will be dropped, and a portion can be picked up by other players. To successfully exchange it for Copper Coins, you'll need to figure out how to transport your Military Pay safely back to your Boundary Marker.

In addition, S4 will introduce a Military Pay Raiding Personal Leaderboard, featuring substantial ranking rewards. Beyond competing for resources, Generals can participate in raids to climb the individual rankings and compete for even greater rewards.

We'll be sharing more S4 previews in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for further updates!
