Round Rock, Texas (October 9, 2025) | Today, renowned MMO publisher KingsIsle Entertainment announced that its most magical turn-based deckbuilding title, Wizard101, is available on console! Now the magic isn’t limited to just PC; players can experience this wonderfully enchanted world on PlayStation and Xbox!
Previously only available on PC, the release of the family-friendly MMO on consoles invites a whole new generation of young wizards, alongside returning Ravenwood Academy alumni, to immerse themselves in the Spiral’s multitude of mystical worlds full of charming characters, fantastical environments, and magical gameplay.

Wizard101 is available now to download for free on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, where players can enjoy free content up to the recently expanded Free-to-Play area in the Oasis zone of Krokotopia. As players progress further, content can be unlocked through the purchase of Crowns, the Wizard101 in-game premium currency, or through the purchase of area Access Passes through the console storefront. The Wizard101 Arc 1 Access Pass will be available for $19.99 at launch for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and contains content for the entire first arc of the Wizard101 storyline. Please note that console players will experience a fresh start, independent of previous progress made on any PC servers. Cross-progression is currently unavailable. Wizard101 will launch on Nintendo Switch at a later date. Wizards who play on Nintendo Switch will be able to purchase the game for $19.99 USD which will include full access to the first arc of the Wizard101 storyline. Accounts created on a Nintendo device will play on the same server as the other console players.
