How is the list decided?

The Most Wanted list is the result of a mathematically-based voting process created by PC Gamer and undertaken by a group of industry luminaries, critics, and content creators dubbed The Council. Each member of The Council voted on a long list of noteworthy games based on their personal excitement for their eventual release, with some weight given to how imminent that game is. The resulting list is an expression of the games that key members of the games industry are most anticipating right now.
