Tokyo - Sept 14, 2022 - Grasshopper Manufacture is proud to announce the renewal and renaming of its official YouTube channel. The Grasshopper Archives (https://www.youtube.com/c/GhMChannel51/) officially launched on Sunday, September 11th, 2022 (JST), with semi-regular uploads of content beginning the previous day.
Via the “Grasshopper Archives” YouTube channel, Grasshopper Manufacture plans to distribute a wide variety of video content in order to help not only existing GhM fans but also gamers around the world in general feel closer and more familiar to both GhM games and its inner workings and the daily lives an work of its staff members as well. The channel will feature interviews with current development staff and various creators with whom GhM has collaborated on past works, “development diaries”, slice of life-style in-house documentaries, and more.
In commemoration of the channel renewal, the Grasshopper Archives has released the first part of a series of interviews with Grasshopper Manufacture CEO and game designer Goichi Suda – also known as Suda51 – entitled “Creator's File_#1 SUDA51: Episode 1 "Quickening" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FW0bOm_fYDw). The continuation of this interview – and more – detailing Goichi Suda’s work in game development as well as the stories of other game creators are scheduled to be featured on the channel in the near future. Grasshopper Manufacture looks forward to becoming closer to gamers and creators around the world via the Grasshopper Archives.
