GAMIGO APPOINTS WOLFGANG DUHR AS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Duhr will take on the role of COO for the whole gamigo group, publishing section, with responsibilities including business development, licensing and the mobile development studio

Hamburg, June 29, 2023: gamigo group, one of the leading publishers of online and mobile games in Europe and North America, has announced the appointment of new COO Wolfgang Duhr. 

 

Taking on the role following the departure of Marcus Behrens, Duhr will be responsible for business development and licensing across the whole group, as well as overseeing the mobile development studio and the KingsIsle studio in Austin, Texas. 

 

Jens Knauber, CEO of gamigo group, added: “Having Wolfgang joining as COO means we can work together with combined focus and strength on the future strategy of gamigo’s group growth and success story. 

 

“With Wolfgang´s background and proven experience within the industry, he is a great addition to our core management team to manage the operational business on our current and upcoming lineup.

Duhr joins gamigo group with an extensive background in video games and publishing, having previously founded bitComposer AG and taken on senior roles at EA, Infogrames and Kalypso Media.
