Welcome to the Old Camp
In Gothic – A Shadow’s Quest, you play as a Shadow or a Fire Mage Novice from the Old Camp, trying to make a name for yourself in the colony. Play solo or team up with up to three friends and optionally let one more player take over as the Game Master. Risky quests and deadly enemies await, in a campaign where your decisions actually change the world around you.
- Build your character the way you want: master the sword, wield magic, or pick enemies off from afar with a bow.
- Experience a dynamic campaign in which your actions shape the game world.
- Play solo or cooperatively with 1-4 players, with an optional Game Master.
Different editions to choose from
- Standard Edition – € 80,00. This is a full version of the game that has been put together with cost-effectiveness in mind to offer the experience to as many players as possible.
- Deluxe Edition – € 110,00. This is the full version of the game, which features a significant improvement in quality thanks to upgraded figures (acryl) and inserts.
- Ultimate Edition – € 199,00 : This is the full version of the game and represents the most luxurious and beautiful edition It includes the full Miniature Pack with 107 figurines.
- All-In-Edition – € 249,00: This is the Ultimate Edition plus all available addons such as a dice tray, 10 exclusive dice and much more.
- Miniature Pack: € 110,00 – you can chose this reward with or without any of the other editions, maybe you love minis and painting them more than playing a board game? Here you are! Includes 107 miniatures – heroes, monsters and bosses.

The campaign runs until October 23rd, 2026 at 15:00 CEST and will be the only way to own Gothic – A Shadow’s Quest, the official board game. Back the project now on Gamefound, and remember: all will be well.

Gothic – A Shadow's Quest is being crafted by THQ Nordic’s Board Game division, the creative team behind the critically acclaimed Darksiders – The Forbidden Land.
