Company of Heroes Online multiplayer out now on Nintendo Switch; supports cross-platform play with iOS & Android

Feral Interactive has today announced an online multiplayer update for Company of Heroes Collection on Nintendo Switch, the real-time strategy masterpiece originally developed by Relic Entertainment.


In the newly added Online Skirmish mode, players with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription may now take the fight to real-world enemies in fast-moving battles for up to four players. In the battle for Normandy, players must pick between the US Army and British 2nd Army representing the Allies, or the Axis forces’ German Wehrmacht and German Panzer Elite, with each faction offering unique unit rosters and abilities that can turn the tide of Company of Heroes’ intense battles.


This much-requested update follows the addition of online multiplayer in the iOS and Android versions of the game. Cross-platform play is available between all three platforms, powered by Feral’s Calico matchmaking service.


Company of Heroes Collection is available to purchase now on the Nintendo eShop and iOS App Store. The base game Company of Heroes is available on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store, with the Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor expansions available via in-app purchase (both required for online play to ensure content parity between all players).
