NewFutureKids is thrilled to announce that Bobo Bay will be featured in Steam Next Fest in February, bringing its charming virtual pet simulation experience to players around the globe. Starting February 23rd, Steam users will be able to try the demo firsthand, explore its creature-raising systems, and get a sneak peek at the full game ahead of its planned Q2 2026 release.
In celebration of this exciting showcase, a brand new trailer has also been released, showcasing the new JetSki feature. Watch it here!
About the Demo
During Steam Next Fest, players can download and play the Bobo Bay demo for free on Steam. The demo features:

Creature collection & Care: Find, nurture, and grow adorable creatures called Bobos.

Mash (breed) and customize: Combine traits and accessories to create unique Bobos and express creativity.

Training & Competitions: Train Bobos to compete in races and brawls.

Excursion Mode: Rent a jetski from the town and explore procedurally-generated islands to solve puzzles, uncover secrets, and find loot, all the while minding your jetski’s fuel meter.

ABOUT NewFutureKids.
NewFutureKids began working on Bobo Bay in August 2022. Owned and operated by Austin, who has always been fascinated by the Chao Garden concept and wanted to take that idea and turn it into a full game, done in his own way.
Austin has been doing game dev for about eight years, starting out mainly doing 3D art. One day, he really wanted to make his own game so he built a little mobile game and learned how to code through Unity. Since then, he’s been chasing that one great idea that he wanted to take all the way to the finish line, and found his niche in Bobo Bay.
