Set Sail in Fate’s Voyage: Onward, New Expansion Launching with Legends of Runeterra Patch 4.9

Legends of Runeterra Patch 4.9 brings players a brand new expansion, Fate’s Voyage: Onward. This expansion introduces three new champions: Nilah, Janna and Volibear. Additionally, players will get to participate in the Eclipse Knights event to earn new event pass rewards, including the brand new Eclipse Knights cosmetic line. THREE NEW CHAMPIONS

• Nilah

  • Star Power 1: The first Fleeting card you play each round is copied

  • Star Power 2: When you discard your first 2 cards each round, updraft it into deck and 1 fleeting at next round Start

  • Star Power 3: Your first 3 Fleeting cards you play each round are copied

• Janna

  • Star Power 1: When you play a cost reduced card, reduce the cost of the top card of your deck by 1.

  • Star Power 2: When you play a cost reduced card, grant the weakest ally +1|+1.

  • Star Power 3: When you play a cost reduced card, reduce the cost of the top card of your deck by 2.

• Volibear 

  • Star Power 1: When you slay a unit, summon an offering.

  • Star Power 2: When you summon a titanic unit, it strikes the strongest enemy.

  • Star Power 3: When you slay a unit, summon 3 Offerings
     

NEW MECHANICS

• New  Card Type

  • Elementals - Many spells and play effects will receive the “Elemental” type, increasing interactivity with cards being added in the Fate’s Voyage Expansion!

• New Vocab

  • Updraft - Shuffle a card into your deck and reduce its cost by 1

  • Titanic - Units with 8+ attack or health
     

ECLIPSE KNIGHTS EVENT

Players will get to participate in an all-new Eclipse Knights event to earn new icons, cards, emotes and champion skins. The event pass grants access to an upgraded event path with premium rewards and immediately unlocks Eclipse Knight Leona.
