EMBARGO: October 10, 2025, at 11:00 am UK time

London, UK | World Mental Health Day (Oct 10) marks six years since the launch of the video games mental health charity Safe In Our World.

To mark the milestone, the charity has launched this year’s Press Pause campaign, Press Pause: Mysteries of the Mind. A brand new pocket-sized puzzle experience inspired by Blue Prince. Players must solve six themed puzzles to uncover a hidden truth, designed to spark conversations about mental health. Available to download now via Tiltify, players are encouraged to donate or start their own fundraisers to support the cause.

Sarah Sorrell, Charity Director: “This mission means everything to us, and I’m so proud of our team for what we've achieved so far. We're also so thankful to our Level Up partners, our workshop leaders and speakers, our fundraisers, and our charity friends. Our future is bright, bold, and brimming with creativity.”

Following Safe In Our World’s #LevelUpMentalHealth initiative, the charity launched the games industry’s first and only evidence-based mental health accreditation at devcom 2025. The Mental Health Star Accreditation takes into account the unique makeup of a company and provides a comprehensive action plan on where companies are doing well and where they can improve.

For those looking to get more involved with Safe In Our World, the charity is currently seeking out its next class of ambassadors for 2026. Ambassadors are invited to represent the charity at events, panels, and talks. They also have the opportunity to share stories and insights or get involved with fundraising initiatives.

Anyone can apply to be an ambassador, provided they have a passion for making a positive impact on mental health awareness.

Rounding off the celebrations, Safe In Our World is benefiting from a mega bundle of great games from Wired Productions, with the support of Humble. The team behind Wired Productions played a crucial role in the founding and growth of the charity. They continue to support mental health in games through Safe In Our World, as members of our Board of Trustees, and charity champions in the games industry.
