Alpharetta, USA - May 2, 2024 - Titan Forge Games has opened the SMITE 2 servers for the first Alpha Weekend event which officially begins today. The first selected players who signed up for the alpha test, as well as all purchasers of the Founder’s Edition, will be able to enter the godly battlegrounds until May 5th.
The event will let players choose amongst 14 Gods: Anhur, Anubis, Athena, Bacchus, Bellona, Cernunnos, Chaac, Fenrir, Kukulkan, Loki, Odin, Neith, Ymir, and Zeus.
With each upcoming Alpha Weekend, Titan Forge Games will introduce more Gods to the game, and improve and refine it based on the community feedback which they will be able to contribute in the official Discord server and social media.
To prepare players for the battle, Titan Forge Games has put together a few training resources, including best tips for mastering the revamped Conquest mode, an overview of what to expect in the Alpha, and a full recording of a SMITE 2 Conquest match. The patch notes and Alpha expectations blog post on the official website also provide more insight into this playtest.
Alpha Weekend events will occur every month until SMITE 2 reaches its 24/7 closed beta later this summer. Those who don't receive an invite right away should not worry as Titan Forge will be sending them out regularly throughout the testing phases.
Players can request to join the playtest via SMITE 2 Steam page or register their interest for playing on other platforms on the official website. For guaranteed access to the closed testing, Founder’s Edition bundles can be purchased on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox and Epic Games Store.
