Ruins of Symbaroum 5E Has Raised $400,000 on Kickstarter With Three Days Left

Heed the warnings spoken by the wardens of the forest – do not disturb the ruins of old, for an ancient evil stirs in its sleep. The horrors of Davokar are about to awaken…

The world of Symbaroum has fascinated players with its mysterious setting since it released in 2016. At the heart of the dark fantasy roleplaying game lies the forest of Davokar that calls out to be explored, covering the remnants of an empire which fell into ruin long ago.

Ruins of Symbaroum, the fan-requested 5E adaptation of the praised dark fantasy RPG Symbaroum, has already surpassed $400,000 in funding and unlocked 26 stretch goals. The unlocked stretch goals includes a GM Screen with an adventure booklet, five double-sided setting maps, VTT modules for all three base setting books.

For years, players have explored the vast forests in the hunt for treasures, lost wisdoms, and fame. They have visited barbarian clans to trade or to plunder, established their bases of power among princes, guilds or rebellious refugees in the capital, and survived encounters with trolls, dark-minded beasts and undead warlords.

Now the time has come for the tabletop roleplaying game Symbaroum to enter a new era with the fan-requested 5E adaptation from Free League Publishing, creators of award-winning games such as the official ALIEN RPG, Forbidden Lands, Tales From the Loop and the upcoming THE ONE RING™ RPG.
