Zagreb, Croatia – June 2026 – Siscia Games has released Major Update v1.006.0 for Pompeii: The Legacy, introducing one of the most requested features since launch: new maps for Sandbox and Creative modes.
Two New Maps for Roman Governors
The update adds two brand-new maps, offering players fresh landscapes, different city layouts, and new opportunities to build thriving Roman settlements. A new map selection panel has also been added, while Sandbox and Creative mode players can now place their City Center almost anywhere on the map, providing significantly greater freedom when planning their cities.
The maps themselves continue to be largely hand-crafted and hand-painted to preserve the visual style and historical atmosphere of the game.
Additional Improvements and Optimizations
A longside the new maps, Major Update v1.006.0 includes a variety of improvements across the game, including visual polish, balancing adjustments, localization fixes, optimized roof rendering, improved LOD transitions on multiple buildings, and additional environmental vegetation to enhance the new landscapes.
The update also continues the ongoing optimization work aimed at improving performance and overall city-building experience.
40% Discount During Games From Croatia Sale
To celebrate the release of the update, Pompeii: The Legacy is participating in the Games From Croatia Steam Sale and is available with a 40% discount from June 8th through June 15th.
The sale highlights games developed by Croatian studios and provides an excellent opportunity for new players to discover Pompeii: The Legacy and begin building their own Roman city.
