Global game company Haegin (CEO Lee Young-il) announced the arrival of a monstrous deep sea fish in its casual social network game, Play Together.
The deep sea monster makes its entrance by sinking the Majesty, a ship that once protected the seas surrounding Kaia Island. The shipwreck is located in the Resort where players can take on various missions, such as rescuing the ship's captain and crew, and helping to repair the damaged Majesty.
Alongside new voyage missions, eight different monstrous deep sea fish, and 13 new guppies have been added. These monstrous deep sea fish are especially noteworthy because they are two to three times larger than the current largest fish that can be caught in Play Together, the sperm whale and the bowhead whale, tempting players with an even greater fishing challenge.
The new fish can be found in the offshore and deep sea areas of the Resort, while the tiny, precious guppies can be found in warm coral areas like the pond on the remote island, or in the coral reefs.
In addition, the minigame ""Find the Treasures of the Sea"" lets players use golden compasses, earned through missions and gameplay, to hunt for hidden treasures. There is also a Ship Log Attendance event, where players can claim items like a fish finder, golden compasses, and theme draw tickets.
To celebrate new fishing zones and the monstrous deep sea fish update, a fishing tournament will be held! Starting from 6/7, The ""Monstrous Deep Sea Fishing Tournament"" will rank players based on the total length of fish caught during the event. Ranks will determine the top 50, with 1st place receiving 100 gems and 10 draw tickets, 2nd place receiving 75 gems and 7 draw tickets, 3rd place receiving 50 gems and 5 draw tickets, and so forth.
