Irvine, California – August 3, 2021 –Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War today unveils the brand new, and highly anticipated Animal Companion System. The new Animal Companion feature brings an expansive, customizable system to Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War. Players will be able to choose their very own companion Puppy, Parrot Chick, Baby Monkey or Kitten.
They will then care for, feed, play with and raise these babies to adulthood. Each companion type will provide their own boost in stats for hunting, capacity, voyage and collecting speeds, power and more.
In addition to the Animal Companion System, Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War will introduce the Korean inspired Tactician, Baek. For the first time, this new Tactician will utilize an Area-of-Effect attack style, bringing a whole new level of strategy to high-seas combat.
To celebrate the game’s new Companion System launch, Joycity has prepared an update that will also include a Caribbean Pass that also contains a sweltering, sizzling, and ominously pirate-themed volcano island fortress skin.
Content launch celebrations are not launch-worthy unless some great, themed in-game events are offered. Animal Companion quests, a sizzling summer event and an improved new-player login feature, and more can be enjoyed in-game now!
