OAKLAND, Calif. – June 3, 2025 – Odd Object, a new team of veteran indie game devs whose credits include UFO 50, Catacomb Kids and Cadence of Hyrule, is excited to announce the studio’s debut title, Scrubbin’ Trubble, a new roguelike clean-‘em-up coming to Steam later this year. Crush grime-ridden enemies on your own or in co-op for up to four players in this turn-based game inspired by the look and feel of ARPGs and hack-and-slash brawlers, where the cleaning and fighting seem to never end! You can’t clean without getting down and dirty in Scrubbin’ Trubble! Choose from a variety of RPG-inspired classes, each with a unique way to tackle the grime, including Bubbaladin, an absorbent close-range attacker; Bleacher, a long-range stain-cleaning sniper; Washbuckler, who damages and pushes back enemies with a splash, and more! You’ll also find a variety of useful equipment and single-use items that can help turn the tide of combat.
Scrub your way through each randomized floor of The House, cleaning up filth-fueled baddies lurking in the muck. As you descend through the floors, you’ll earn high scores and upgrade your characters based on how well you perform. Reach the end of your run to take on one of the Four Filths of the Apocalypse, but beware: if your whole party gets wiped out, it’s game over, and you’ll have to start all over from the beginning!
