MURAL ARTIST TAKES OVER HUGE EAST LONDON WALL WITH EPIC ‘BLADE RUNNER’ STYLE NEON ART

Futuristic street art created by mural artist, Jim Vision, to celebrate launch of Scarlet Nexus

London, 24 June 2021. Top mural artist Jim Vision from EndoftheLine has revealed a blockbuster piece of ‘Blade Runner’ style street art right in the heart of East London. Taking street art to a whole new level, vast spray of electric neon colours and ghostly futuristic figures were combined to create the massive mural.

Produced over just two days singlehandedly by Jim Vision and a whopping 50 cans of spray paint, 33 shades of colour and 4 neon colours used in total to make the mural, the piece was inspired by the long-awaited action RPG Scarlet Nexus from BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment UK, which will be available to buy from this Friday 25th June 2021. Featuring dark city backdrops showered with electric futuristic neon lights and bizarre spine-chilling hybrid beasts, the artwork of the game helped Jim to compose such an epic piece of street art.

Jim says: “This part of East London felt like a fitting place to produce this piece of art. You look down one road and you see the quiet residential streets that were once the stomping ground of legendary London gangsters, The Krays, then you turn the corner, and you are surrounded by a huge city landscape of high-rise futuristic buildings very similar to Scarlet Nexus”.

The art will be up for a month from now and can be seen on the wall opposite Second Home Spitalfields, 68 Hanbury Street, London, E1 5JL -  here

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment UK have also partnered with London’s iconic futuristic fashion brand Cyberdog in Camden Market to host a range of in-store activities on the day of release (25 June 2021). Customers will be able to head down to the store during opening hours (11am – 5pm) and experience further Jim Vision / EndoftheLine Scarlet Nexus murals as they are created LIVE along with having the chance to have a go with the artists on the fantastic digital graffiti board that will be available on the day. There will also be lots of prizes on offer at the Cyberdog HQ, including signed prints from top games influencer Arekkz Games and artist Jim Vision / EndoftheLine.

Scarlet Nexus is set in a far distant future, where a psionic hormone was discovered in the human brain, granting people extra-sensory powers and changing the world as we know it.  Just as humanity was entering this new era, deranged mutants known as Others began to descend from the sky with a thirst for human brains. Highly resistant to conventional attack methods, extreme measures needed to be taken to battle the overwhelming threat and preserve humanity. Those with acute extra-sensory abilities, known as psionics, were our chance to fight the onslaught from above. To this day, psionics have been scouted for their talents and recruited to the Other Suppression Force (OSF), humanity’s last line of defence.
