MIRAI #167: Official Trailer Debuts with Steam Demo Announcement

Control two characters simultaneously in a fast-paced 2D Pixel-Art Action-Adventure Game!

August 12, 2025 - Orangenap Studio announces MIRAI #167, a 2d pixel-art runner coming to Steam in Q1 2026. Embark on a frantic adventure to save humanity in a world where AI surpasses human control - upgrade your characters, break records and rewrite history before it’s too late! To celebrate the game's inclusion in Tiny Teams, an indie festival showcasing great titles made by small teams, the first official trailer has just been released exclusively by IGN, along with the announcement of a free Steam Demo launching on September 8th!

About the Game:
Join MIRAI #167 and Jonas — two characters separated by time but united in soul. Switch between them to use each one’s unique abilities and overcome enemies. Fight in multiple ways: engage in melee combat, deflect gunfire, throw objects from the environment, or use classic runner moves like dashing, sliding, and jumping. Unlock powerful abilities and enhance your characters through a skill tree at any time.

In a future where intelligent robots have seized control, Jonas, a remorseful programmer, must face the machines he helped create. From the future comes MIRAI #167 — a powerful time-traveling robot Jonas himself designed — sent to stop him and rewrite history.

MIRAI #167 blends fast-paced action with time-bending mechanics and a story of redemption, perfect for players seeking both challenge and narrative depth.

Key Features:
Control two characters at once in challenging, fast-paced gameplay
Distinct pixel-art aesthetic, blending high-detail backgrounds with lower-resolution characters
Rewind time after each loss to instantly correct mistakes and try again
Unlock abilities and shape your playstyle through a flexible skill tree
Experience a cinematic, story-driven adventure seamlessly integrated into gameplay
