(Sept. 30, 2022) - Leading video game publisher and developer Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced SWORD ART ONLINE ALICIZATION LYCORIS is now available on Nintendo Switch™. The game features action-packed battles set in an expansive world, stunning JRPG visuals, and fan favorite characters with players joining Kirito as he embarks upon an epic journey into the mysterious Underworld.
SWORD ART ONLINE ALICIZATION LYCORIS is the exciting adaptation to the ALICIZATION series where players take on the role of Kirito as they embark on adventures in a medieval-fantasy virtual world filled with intense combat and action-packed scenes, and with Eugeo, Alice, and many more fan-favorite characters by their side. The game features an original storyline supervised by renowned author Reki Kawahara that has since been added to the game’s manga canon narrative, where Kirito and his gang encounter Medina, heiress of the Orthinanos disgraced family, who intends to clear her name by becoming an Integrity Knight.
SWORD ART ONLINE ALICIZATION LYCORIS follows the recurring themes of the JRPG genre with an engaging narrative and complex characters - all while embracing the world of the Alicization canon, with players yielding great swords, meeting knights, and facing mythical creatures.
