A Relentless and Unpredictable Hunter
Originally appearing in the first Damned (2014), Fallen joins the Damned 2 roster with a completely reworked set of abilities that make her a constant threat throughout every match.
The Monster introduces a new way to hunt Survivors, using statues and the environment itself to amplify her presence and control the space around her. During a match, Fallen can create statues that begin stalking players. As more traps are triggered, the number of statues increases as well.
Fallen can take control of each statue individually, switching between them and teleporting across the map to hunt down Survivors. However, statues stop moving whenever they are being watched, creating a tense battle for attention between both sides.
Among Fallen’s abilities is the power to raise pillars that block pathways and restrict escape routes. She can also hurl boulders capable of knocking Survivors down and leaving them briefly vulnerable, creating the perfect opportunity for an execution.
Combining mobility, an overwhelming presence, and environmental control, Fallen turns the map itself into a part of the hunt.
New Mechanics, Revamped UI, and Other Improvements
The Fallen Update also introduces a variety of improvements to the game. Players can now play with or against AI-controlled Survivors, eliminating the need to assemble a full group of players before jumping into a match.
The update also adds a new wooden planks system that can block passages and rooms across the map. Survivors will need to use a crowbar to break through these obstacles and continue their escape.
In addition, the update features a complete overhaul of the user interface, giving menus and screens a cleaner look and more intuitive navigation.
Finally, players will have access to two new flashlight skins and new banners that can be unlocked through gameplay progression. The update also includes numerous bug fixes, gameplay improvements, and general quality-of-life enhancements across various aspects of Damned 2.
About Damned 2:
Damned 2 is an asymmetrical horror game that pits four brave Survivors against a relentless Monster in a fight for survival. As the survivors explore a sinister environment in search of keys and objects to escape, the monster lurks, ready to haunt and eliminate those who dare to challenge the darkness.
Each match offers unique challenges, with keys, items, and puzzles appearing in random locations, ensuring that each experience is truly unique. The puzzles are designed to encourage cooperation among the Survivors, making communication essential for survival.
It’s predecessor, Damned, released in 2014, was a major success, selling over 260,000 copies. Moreover, it was a pioneer of the asymmetrical horror genre at a time when titles like Dead By Daylight didn’t yet exist. Few people know that the game responsible for creating this subgenre is Brazilian.
