May 30th, 2025 – Slime LLC today announced the 1.0 release of Slime.lol, the first full-scale online multiplayer reimagining of the beloved classic web game Slime Volleyball. Blending nostalgic, physics-based gameplay with modern competitive features, Slime.lol introduces ranked multiplayer, deep player progression, and over 80 unique, game-changing abilities—all playable directly in the browser.

Slime.lol features three core game modes—Volley, Soccer, and Hoops—each powered by responsive, real-time physics that are easy to learn but hard to master. All modes support up to 4-player match making, with private matches accommodating up to 8 players for a 4 versus 4.
This 1.0 release represents a major milestone for slime.lol, with a ton of new content such as the aforementioned 80 rare abilities that can dramatically alter game outcomes through their unique mechanics. Players can also customize their slimes with thousands of item color combinations, unique faces, caps, and skins, to create their very own personalized slimes. The game has now reached a state where the developers are proud to call it a full release, and are eager to invite new players to join the fun.
