■ Game Overview
“Bell Shooter” is a unique bullet-hell shooter that doesn’t use guns at all. You hit your ship with bells to bounce them off, then use them to strike and defeat enemies approaching from above. You fight by continuously juggling the bells — like a game of juggling—to keep them from falling off the bottom of the screen. The game features a total of 6 worlds and 30 stages.
■Feature 1: Switch Between 4 Types of Bells
There are four types of bells: the “Normal” bell, which bounces; the “Blast” bell, which explodes and takes out surrounding enemies; the “Pierce” bell, which pierces through shields; and the “Split” bell, which splits into two. Hitting an enemy with the bell that matches its weak point results in a critical hit.
■Feature 2: Don’t Move When the Eye Opens
As you progress through the stages, a giant eye appears on the screen. If you move while the eye is open, you’ll lose a life. This adds a horror element and tests your “courage to stand still.”
■Feature 3: A Cute World That Gradually Becomes Eerie
It starts with a sky as colorful as candy. However, the further you go, the more the enemies, scenery, and music gradually become strange. If you make a mistake, enemies may taunt you.
A giant boss awaits at the end of each world, and your ship, “Bellwing,” gets stronger every time you clear a world. It’s a one-shot challenge where a single mistake sends you back to Stage 1-1, and the game supports Steam’s global and friends’ leaderboards.
