Stockholm, June 3, 2025 – Archons has since its release amassed a very positive response from its players, with a 95% positive review score on Steam. It’s being praised for its unique take on bullet hell games, with a new and tricky mechanic to get used to!
A new free update is now adding more content, something that has been eagerly awaited by the players. From today, an additional winther-themed endless level is now available as part of a free update to Archons.
The level includes the regular wave after wave of enemies, but also adds bulky special enemies generating persistent ice stains that build up over time, gradually turning the map into an icy deathtrap. Kill them before they generate too much of it! Luckily, there are rewards in the form of in-game cosmetic items waiting for those that manage to survive long enough.
The Archons Original soundtrack by Olivier Orand has gotten high praise from Archons players, and will now also be available to buy separately on Steam too. Find it here.
