WRC 2022 World Final Presented by AGON by AOC: eSport finalists will race to win a €25,000 cash prize

Lesquin, 6 September 2022 – NACON, KT Racing, WRC Promoter and EKO Acropolis Rally Greece are pleased to be hosting the eSports WRC World Final presented by AGON by AOC on 7 and 8 September 2022 at the heart of the Olympic village in Athens, Greece.

The seventh consecutive season of the event will take place during EKO Acropolis Rally Greece and will be contested by eight finalists. In order of their place in the standings, Sami-Joe (Lebanon), Izamusing (Great Britain), Nexl (France), Kazunokota (Japan), Botti Jr (Italy), Katana (Poland), Zeniou (Cyprus) and Kriim (France) will compete against each other in the video game WRC 10.

In 2015, KT Racing and NACON created the first eSports championship to run in parallel with the FIA World Rally Championship. Since then, the event has attracted more and more competitors each year with an increasingly higher standard of driving on display. To celebrate the latest season, a €25,000 cash prize will be awarded by KT Racing and NACON to the winner of the final, with a total of €30,000 in prizes given out. Partners Fanatec, Playseat, TW Steel and AOC will also be awarding a range of prizes to the participants.
