Mendoza, Argentina - November 2026 - UnderGrow, a free online growing simulator, is now playable in the browser on PC and mobile at https://undergrowgame.com. Developed by a small independent team of growers and gamers from Mendoza, Argentina, UnderGrow simulates a full cannabis grow in real time: one in-game day is one real hour, and the plants keep growing even when the game is closed.
THE GAME
Players start in a small grow corner at home and can expand to a grow tent, a grow room, an outdoor garden, warehouses and an open field. Every plant is tended by hand: water, feed, inspect it with a magnifying lens or a microscope, prune it, treat pests and choose the exact moment to harvest by reading the trichomes.
KEY FEATURES
- The full cycle, modeled on real growing: germination, vegetative, flowering, harvest, drying and curing.
- Watering, pH, EC, light schedules, pests, deficiencies and indoor/outdoor climate (the outdoor weather follows the player's real province or state).
- 60 strains with colorful buds (purple, orange, blue, pink, black, frost...), plus breeding to create your own genetics.
- A business layer: markets, customers, big orders, employees, a dispensary, inspections and taxes.
- Online: partnerships with other players, chats, a seasonal Cup and world rankings.
- A new player starts with a gift from the Lucky Old Man, their grower neighbor: a fully equipped corner and two flowering plants ready to harvest, so the first harvest comes in the first session.
